Since 2018, TRUTHIS Studios has committed to education and restoration through art and writing. With an emphasis on community, we continue to build healthy artistic ecosystems for creatives across various mediums and industries.
THEN
We birthed TRUTHIS Studios (formely known as truthisbykemikarim) with interviews and photoshoots of local residents. This was the seed of our on-going project FROM THE PEOPLE.

Our CEO, Kemi Karim, was gifted her first camera and began taking pictures all through Brooklyn,NY and other parts of the city.

Black Man In Americkkka, 2020 was selected for the Annual Howard University Student Art Show.

On Sept 14, 2020, TRUTHIS Studios was officially incorporated in Washington, DC to carry out our mission to influence social change through art and writing.

On January 4, 2021, we launched ITISWHATITIS, a newsletter/blog which focuses on relationships, entrepreneurship, spirituality, life, womanhood, unpopular opinions, etc.
GOOD INTENTIONS
On May 5, 2021 we introduced GOOD INTENTIONS, an online shop curated by TRUTHIS Studios.
